What information does LashOffice collect and store?


User-provided or personally identifiable information

Who can process my data?


Only LashOffice’s own employees have access to customer data, and our staff is trained to use data ethically and safely.


We use trusted contractual partners, in which case information can be transferred to a third party. The agreements with all partners take into account the requirements set by the EU’s GDPR data protection regulation and other legislation.

How long will my data be kept?


We only keep your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this statement. In addition, some information can be kept longer to the extent that it is necessary to fulfill the obligations set by law, such as accounting and consumer trade responsibilities, and to demonstrate their proper implementation.


At the customer’s request, personal information about him can be deleted or anonymized from LashOffice’s systems and the information will no longer be used for the purposes listed in the description.

For some information, legislation imposes obligations on the longer-term storage of information, e.g. for the following purposes:


The Accounting Act defines longer retention periods for information, regardless of whether the material contains personal data or not

System log data is collected and stored as required by law, so that we can offer legal and safe online shopping to our customers

Taking sufficient backups of the shop’s databases and systems in order to secure data, correct error situations and ensure data security and continuity

 


Do I have rights?


As a customer, you have the right to:

How can I influence the use of my data or be forgotten?


LashOffice is committed to offering its customers opportunities to influence the collection and use of their data.


You can decide for yourself about marketing targeted at you, value-added services and whether or not to receive various marketing messages. You can find the options on the account management page. We are constantly developing our service, so functions can be added, changed or removed.


The customer can also terminate their customer account at any time and ask LashOffice to delete their own data by contacting our customer service.


Note! In some cases, not all information can be deleted and legislation may require us to retain some of the information related to the customer.


 


Will my personal data end up with third parties?


We hand over some necessary information to third parties to guarantee delivery (for example Posti or Matkahuolto). Your information is also forwarded to the credit granting agency in connection with the credit decision.


We use PayPal to facilitate some payment methods. PayPal collects the IP address, payment method and payment date in connection with the payment transaction.

Cookies and other tracking LashOffice


LashOffice uses cookies and similar browser technical functions, such as browser memory. Cookies are small text files between the end device’s browser and the server. Cookies are used, among other things, for customer identification, registered customer login and Shopping Cart functions. The use of cookies and acceptance of their use is mandatory for these functions. By default, the cookies set by the server remain in the browser for one month, unless you delete them separately from the browser settings. Visiting the site resets cookies if the browser allows it.


We also use other technologies, such as pixel identifiers (e.g. Google Analytics) and trackers. With the help of these, we can analyze and develop the operation of our online store and target advertising content. The number of ads on Facebook, for example, is constant, so this does not increase the number of ads you see.


The information used for the analysis is anonymized whenever possible. Otherwise, we treat the information as personal to the extent that the identifier contains customer-targeting information, such as an IP address. Identifiers that are connected to the customer in some way are also treated as personal information.
